Allotment Rental Terms & Conditions

• Your chosen allotment is available to you from February to December.

• Access to the garden is available to you 7 days a week.

• The Gardens are also open 7 days per week. Opening times are 9-5 p.m. Monday to Friday and Saturday & Sunday 11.00 to 6.00 p.m. Outside of these hours to gain entry to the garden you will need to get prior permission, please email gardens@festinalente.ie for permission and please give at least 72 notice.

• Please check if you are the last to leave the premises and if so you are responsible for locking the 3 gates: the garden gate, the car park, and the top gate.

• Your allotment needs to be kept clean and rubbish free, free from weeds and maintained in a good state of cultivation.

• Please remove all non recycle material from your area, we will provide composting facilities for green waste. Please put your weeds in the orange bin in the garden.

• If for unforeseen circumstances you are unable to maintain your plot for four consecutive weeks please inform the garden management in order that alternative arrangements can be made to maintain your plot. This year we can provide a weeding service should you require it, so please contact Ann or Patrick .

• Please observe best practice with regard to children and dogs, keep them safe and under supervision and with you at all times. Please ensure tools are always safely kept and removed when finished.

• Paths must be kept clear of all obstruction.

• Only the plot holder or person authorised or accompanied by the Plot holder is allowed on the site.

• The plot holder must not cause or allow any nuisance or annoyance to any other plot holders.
