Saol Anois Day Service

The Saol Anois Day Service is funded by the Health Service Executive and is delivered in line with New Directions Policy.

Its core values are person-centeredness, community inclusion, active citizenship and high-quality service provision.

It is a supportive and therapeutic service which challenges people to achieve their personal best through education, independent living and employment supports.

Saol Anois promotes:

Each person is facilitated in designing and developing their own personalised plan and supported to work towards their goals by their individual Keyworker. This plan is reviewed on an on-going basis during the year and reshaped as appropriate. We use a holistic approach which includes providing supports for education, employment, health, relationships, community and independent living skills.

Where appropriate there is a strong emphasis on liaising with other persons involved in supporting the individual such as family, friends or other service providers.  At present the Saol Anois team consists of 32 men and women engaging in the service, five full time Keyworkers, a parttime Behaviour Support Mentor and a part time Supported Employment Co-ordinator.

We set clear goals

A significant element of the service involves the creation of a Person Centred Plan for each individual accessing the service. Each person is facilitated in designing and developing their own personalised plan and supported to work towards their goals by their individual Keyworker. This plan is reviewed on an on-going basis throughout the year and is reshaped as needed. Where appropriate, there is a strong emphasis on liaising with other people involved in supporting the individual such as family, friends or other service providers.
